Edward versus Jacob debates were in full swing, as hundreds of Stephenie Meyer's devout fans waited outside the Parkway Central branch of the Free Library, braving late February's cold, crisp weather. The attendees consisted primarily of teenage girls and middle-aged women who call themselves, "Twi-hards."

The line of anxious fans flooded out the back door of the library and continued down the street, wrapping around the corner. According to an event organizer, 1000 people pre-registered for the even online through the Free Library's website. With registration forms in hand, attendees were given blue tickets that granted access to the signing.
"This blue ticket is like a Willy Wonka golden ticket to me!" said one young teenager, as she beamed, clutching her books with anticipation.
Thank you to Katelyn for sharing her experience at The Host book signing in Philadelphia. I hope many of you were able to attend at one of the locations. There are still a few signings to come, including a recently announced London event. Check out all the details here.
If you are unable to attend an event, I do have a copy of The Host signed by Stephenie Meyer to give away (US Only). There are still 6 days left to enter and you can earn daily entries through Twitter. Check out the giveaway here.
